Daniel plays guitar and has a huge repertoire of country songs. For the past 5 years has been with Manson Grant and the Dynamos and has already recorded some songs on Manson's albums, as well as a number of traditional accordion tracks. On this album Daniel McPhee "Sings Country" his debut album introducing Daniel to a new audience in the country music world. As he says in the sleeve notes, all songs on the album have been hits by some of country music's greatest stars and this album is Daniel's version of them. Daniel McPhee "Sings Country" was recorded at Studio-D, Wick and Le Garage, Nashville featuring on fiddle American award winner Aubrey Haynie and on steel Robbie Turner who has played steel with the Dixie Chicks.
